Every year Apple fans gather to watch the WWDC keynote event in suspense for the latest Apple products! Unfortunately due to work and other obligations it can be hard to sit down and watch it for 2 hours. So we are going to take a look at the highlights of this years keynote event!
iOS 13

Yes Apple announced their next iOS update would be released this year. One of the announcements I am most excited about is that they are adding a Dark Mode in the new iOS. This will allow you to use a dark theme so the screen is less intense when you look at in the dark. Other notable features they are adding include a new typing style called “quickpath”, improvements to the photos app and better Siri shortcuts. They are also adding updates to Maps, Messages, and more.
iPadOS

Apple surprised many fans by announcing that iPads will no longer run on iOS, but instead they are planning on using a new dedicated OS called iPadOS. The iPadOS is planned to be released this fall. Some of the new features include the ability to open certain apps split view, a fresh look for the Home Screen and new gestures for text editing!
watchOS 6

The latest software update for Apple Watches has been announced and is set to introduce new watch faces for first party apps such as Audiobooks and Calculator and is improving health and fitness features. It is also going to offer a specialized watchOS App store.
macOS Catalina

The newest macOS update will be known as Catalina. The biggest change coming with the update is that they will no longer be supporting iTunes. Instead, they will offer 3 different apps for Music, Apple TV, and Apple Podcasts. This update will also include Sidecar, which will allow iPads to be used as a second screen. It will also include a variety of other quality of life improvements.
tvOS 13

They announced the next update for the Apple TV, tvOS 13.This upgrade is going to include some great features such as being able to switch between users and adding support for Xbox One and Playstation 4 Dualshock controllers.
With all of the new software features they also talked about two hardware products they would be releasing this year. A brand new Mac Pro and a new Pro Display XDR.
