One of the most common and effective, yet often overlooked methods of staying organized and productive is by creating clear and helpful list of tasks that need to be complete. Lists are one of the easiest formats to keep track of all the tasks that need to be completed as you can easily see what needs to be done.

Todoist allows you to easily create lists of tasks that you need to complete, when they need to be completed, and which tasks are most important. This is done by letting you set priorities, making it clear which tasks have the most importance.

This is a great tool for keeping track of all the different assignments, projects and exams that happen throughout the year. By keeping it updated with new assignments/projects and marking the ones you have completed, you can ensure you don’t miss any important schoolwork.

If you have never used Google Docs before it is a word processing program similar to Microsoft Word, however Google Docs is free to use and can be accessed from any mobile device or PC with access to the internet as all the data is saved on Google’s cloud storage.

This is perfect for when you are not sure if you will be working from home or working at school as you can easily access your work wherever you are. This also ensures you will never lose all your hard work due to device failures.

Google also offers similar programs for other Microsoft word products, such as Google Sheets that allows you to create spreadsheets and Google Slides which allows you to create presentations.

Calendar App

When you are taking 5 different classes in a semester it can be very easy to get overwhelmed. This can cause you to miss assignments, turn projects in late, forget about exams and more. This is why it is important to keep track of any upcoming due dates and exams in an easy to read manner.

Calendar apps are perfect for this. Personally, I use my phone’s calendar app as well as ToDoist. As ToDoist allows me to see a breakdown of everything that needs to be done as well as what I already completed, while my calendar app allows me to get a more simplified picture of when things are due and what events are coming up.
